Donation Drive to
Essaman Community
PROaid Africa Projects and Corps Africa undertook a donation outreach trip to Essaman Community in Abura Asebu Asamankese, Central Region — part of the organisation's ongoing corporate social responsibility activities aimed at supporting underserved communities and promoting social welfare.
The outreach was organised to provide essential relief items to community members, foster goodwill, strengthen community–organisation relations, and assess immediate needs for future interventions. Clothing and footwear were officially presented to community leaders for transparent and equitable distribution among residents.
Activities included a formal arrival and welcome by community leaders, engagement with residents, the official presentation of donated items, and addresses by representatives of both PROaid Africa and Corps Africa. Despite poor road conditions affecting transportation, all objectives of the outreach were successfully achieved.
The donated items will significantly alleviate some of the challenges faced by our residents. We are deeply grateful to PROaid Africa and Corps Africa for serving our community with dignity and respect.
Wellness & Dental Health
at Bright Future School
PROaid Africa organised a school outreach programme to Bright Future Preparatory School in Ajumako — delivering dental health awareness, wellness education, and essential learning and recreational materials to students and staff.
Facilitator Adam delivered an engaging and informative presentation covering wellness (mental, physical, and emotional well-being), health (basic hygiene, nutrition, and disease prevention), and dentistry (proper oral hygiene, brushing techniques, and the importance of regular dental care). The session was interactive and helped students understand how simple daily habits can greatly improve their quality of life.
Following the presentation, a donation exercise was carried out — providing storybooks, crayons, two volleyballs, two footballs, and a pump. These were presented to school authorities to enhance student learning and promote sports and physical activity.
ProAid's team brought health education to our students in a way that was practical and memorable. The students were engaged throughout, and the donated materials made an immediate positive difference.
