PROaid Africa Projects (Ghana) is a non-profit organisation duly registered with the Registrar General Office on the 16th of June 2011 at Accra, Ghana — with the intention to reach out to the continent of Africa as a real beacon of hope to the hundreds of millions of people suffering from the devastating impact of poverty.

We cater for orphans, street children, trafficked children, people living with disabilities, and poor communities at large — working closely with the Department of Social Welfare, fostering collaborations with local communities, government bodies, and other stakeholders. We also recruit volunteers virtually across the globe and allow students to pursue internships.

Mr. Patrick Ankai-MacAidoo is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of PROaid Africa Projects, a community-driven organisation dedicated to transforming lives across Africa through education, healthcare, sports, and sustainable development. Driven by a lifelong commitment to his continent, communities and a belief that every African community deserves access to opportunity, Patrick established PROaid Africa with a clear mission: to bridge the gap between need and possibility. Under his leadership, PROaid Africa has grown from a vision into a thriving organisation touching the lives of thousands across Ghana and beyond. Patrick brings 14 years of experience in Civil Engineering and Facilities Management and a hands-on approach to leadership that keeps the organisation deeply connected to the communities it serves. Ms. Wenderly Kyirwa Yeboah is a dedicated volunteer with PROaid Africa Projects, contributing her time, energy, and expertise to advancing the organization's mission across Ghana and beyond. As Project Lead, Wenderly takes ownership of coordinating the external activities that give PROaid Africa its reach and influence — from forging new partnerships and representing the organization in negotiations, to supporting the implementation of programmes that directly impact communities. What sets Wenderly apart is her genuine passion for community development and her ability to build meaningful relationships with institutions, partners, and stakeholders at every level. She gives generously of herself not for a salary, but because she believes deeply in the work PROaid Africa does and the lives it changes. Wenderly is a proud Ghanaian whose commitment to her continent's future is reflected in everything she brings to the team.
