PROaid Africa is committed to improving health outcomes in underserved communities through accessible healthcare services and comprehensive wellness education. Our programmes focus on preventative care, health advocacy, and connecting communities with the essential medical resources they need.
We believe that healthy individuals build stronger families, stronger schools, and stronger communities. That is why we work directly in the communities most affected by health inequality — bringing screenings, education, and partnerships to people who might otherwise go without.
Through formal partnerships with Cape Coast Teaching Hospital and Doctors in Service, we are able to provide credible, professional healthcare support alongside our community-led wellness education campaigns.
Dental Health Outreach — Bright Future School
On 8th January 2025, PROaid Africa's facilitator Adam delivered an engaging wellness and dental health programme to students at Bright Future Preparatory School in Ajumako — covering oral hygiene, nutrition, and disease prevention in an interactive session for the entire school community.
The outreach was warmly received by both students and staff, who noted the immediate improvement in children's awareness of dental hygiene and personal health. Educational materials and sports equipment were donated to support continued learning and recreation at the school.

Health education sessions for mothers and caregivers covering breastfeeding, child nutrition, and early childhood development — supporting healthy starts for the youngest members of our communities.
Medical Screenings
Preventative health checks delivered in underserved areas — in partnership with Cape Coast Teaching Hospital and Doctors in Service, giving communities access to professional medical evaluation.
Nutrition & Wellness Education
Practical guidance on healthy eating, disease prevention, and overall wellbeing — equipping individuals and families with the knowledge to make informed health decisions every day.
Health & Medical Internships
Structured internship placements for healthcare and medical students — providing real-world experience in community health settings alongside PROaid Africa's programme teams.
