Education & Skills for a Sustainable Future
PROaid Africa's Education & Skills Development program empowers children and youth across the Central Region with quality educational support, health and wellness training, and access to essential learning materials. We partner with schools and educational institutions to deliver comprehensive programs that build both academic knowledge and practical life skills.
Our initiatives include health awareness education, sports and recreational activities to promote physical development, and distribution of educational supplies to ensure no child's learning is limited by lack of resources. We place special focus on scholarships for women and individuals with special needs.
Skills training is a core pillar of what we do — offering programmes in IT, fashion and cosmetology, and other vocational fields that open doors to economic independence for young people aged 16 to 35, and adults 40 and above.
Bright Future Preparatory School, Ajumako
On 8th January 2025, PROaid Africa's team visited Bright Future Preparatory School in Ajumako, delivering a hands-on wellness and dental health education programme to students and staff.
Our facilitator, Adam, led engaging sessions covering oral hygiene and brushing techniques, nutrition and disease prevention, and the importance of physical and mental wellbeing. The visit concluded with a donation of story books, crayons, volleyballs, footballs, and a pump — providing both academic and recreational support to the school community.

Interactive health awareness programmes delivered directly in partner schools — covering dental care, nutrition, hygiene, and overall wellbeing to equip young people with lifelong healthy habits.
Educational Scholarships
Providing educational scholarships specifically for women and individuals with special needs — removing financial barriers and opening pathways to academic achievement and professional growth.
IT & Digital Skills Training
Equipping youth and adults with practical IT skills to compete in the modern economy. Our digital literacy programmes prepare participants for employment and entrepreneurship in a technology-driven world.
Fashion & Cosmetology Training
Vocational skills training in fashion design and cosmetology, with special focus on women and people with special needs — creating pathways to economic independence and entrepreneurship.
Sports Equipment & Recreation
Donating sports equipment to schools and supporting recreational activities that promote physical development, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles among children and young people.
School Building Project
Constructing and improving school facilities to create safe, conducive learning environments in communities where students currently lack adequate classroom space and basic educational infrastructure.
